It’s the first day of February and I am still celebrating the New Year. Because my birthday is in February, I always take my time to get into my New Year’s resolutions. So when everyone else is struggling to stick to theirs, I am simply reflecting. The hard work doesn’t start until February and so here it begins.
So what have I been up to? It’s been a year of grueling exams, submissions and interviews at work so the blog took a very permanent back seat. Something I didn’t plan but like most of my readers, fashion is a lifestyle that we have the privilege to dip in and out of because the food on our tables comes from a completely different industry. This makes being involved in fashion so much more fun because there is less pressure. I am eternally grateful for having achieved my professional registration and equally grateful that I have my work here on this blog, my portal to a creative world.
And what will I get up to this year? A few things really. I hope to be able to write more on this blog. Not just on fashion but on things that I have now realised are part of my lifestyle and feed directly into my personal style; travel, health, well-being and beauty. Although I am not an expert on all of this, I hope that it will help you realise how your own personal choices on your lifestyle can influence your sense of style and vice versa. As well as commenting on current trends, I will be catching you up on the few things that I did last year and February being a big month for fashion, there will be quite a bit to talk about!
