Swapping the skinny leg for the wide leg?

The skinny look has been a staple in our wardrobes for about seven years now and like every relationship, we are going through a seven-year itch. So is it time to ditch the skinny look and if so,  for what? Or do we just keep the skinny look? Either way, the wide leg is certainly making a come back.

Depending on your line of work, most women will find they can’t wear “skinnies” to work and as such, our relationship with anything  with a skinny leg has been limited to nights out and weekends. That’s where the wide-leg comes in. Wide leg trousers aren’t just comfortable, but they are versatile. You can wear them with a shirt for a smart look during your working week and a jumper for a casual look at the weekend. For a more elegant take on smart casual, you can wear a wide leg jumpsuit.

If there was ever a good time for the wide leg trouser to make a come back, it is now. You can wear a pair of leggings under your wide leg trousers for added warmth during the cold winter months and still look effortlessly stylish.Whilst the weather is still mild, you can wear culottes for a feminine and fun wide leg look. However, I have always adored the wide leg trousers and will be definitely wearing them to work again this season!
